What appeared to be a daunting task turned out to be a non-event. I had been concerned on how I was going to correctly mark the cut lines on my longerons. I spent a couple of hours pondering this and figured out the best method for me. I used a tape measaure and an angle gauge and began to lay out the cut lines. After I finished, I still was not sure I had done it correctly so I asked my friend Jim to look at them. After a few minutes he said go ahead and cut 'em. Jim is a master craftsman and has built several beautiful experimentals, so I trust his judgement. You only get one chance to correctly cut the longerons. If you screw them up, Rachel willl be happy to sell you more.
