2 days work in one log. Finished straightening out all the ribs. Put on a couple of more ribs just to make it look good for our Annual Black Eye Pea dinner we have at the house with 10 airpak friends.
Riveted the end pieces on the ribs as reqjuired and then the end pieces on the spar at two ribs as the plans say. Put on the tip rib brackets, incorredtly as it turns out. Deburred all the holes in the spars that take the ribs with an in-out deburrer.
Assembled all the ribs on the wing, removing the diagonals and replacing to get them in. Used clecos, a good idea when things are not always right in the plans. Then put in the stiffeners and clecoed. Here is where the wrong tip backets showed up. The stiffeners were about 3/4" too long. Got a wingtip out of the storage area and discovered that it would not go on far enough to cover the rib, so the rib needed to be more outboard. Chedked everything over and found brackets were tab in the wrong direction, but the forward one would not work if it was reversed. Got the right wing bracket out (marked R") and it solved the problem. Discovered that Glenn's build log on the website mentioned the same problem, improperly labled tip brackets in 2015.
