Brief Description:  Glue in rear windows!

Sanded the lip of the cabin for left window and cleaned. Sanded the glue area on the window. Cleaned both with the Sika Acktivator, let dry and then applied the Sika Primer. This stuff is very black and photo shows it when applied to the fiberglass. After about 30 minutes put on a good dose of Sikaflex 95UI and inserted the window. Squished it down and put on the retention clips. Kept pressing while checking if it was flush. When flush, cleaned out the squeeze out on the outside. Needed to add some to the gap between the edge of the window and the frame, but the rest had plenty extra.

When it was flush, went inside. Good squeeze out except at the bottom. Had to add some more Sikaflex to fill the gap. Tooled the inside joint with a small radius mixing stick until the 1/8" radius was even and smooth. One quick wipe with the finger. Went outside to recheck that the window did not move out of place and then went back inside and pulled the first layer of white tape, slowly and carefully. Very nice looking edge, but ... don't look again, get out and get away. Trying to fix anything will result in a total mess, a lesson learned from other similar projects.

Ate lunch and then went out and did the right window. Same result, used more Sikaflex and still was a little short on the bottom. Total Sikaflex used was about 3/4 of one tube.
