Brief Description: Firewall insulation, motor mount
Today and yesterday in one log. Cut Soundex insulation for top. Cut up the firewall template into the required pieces to fit between the angles. Fitted each piece and marked all cutouts and holes. Cut out all the insulation and checked fits. All is good. Still have some small filler pieces to cut that will wait til later. Nothing attached yet til the rest of the firewall penetrations are done.
Started on installing the motor mount. Drilled upper right hole and then the lower left. Looked like the upper left did not allign up with the hole, but when tightened down, it came into alignment. Drilled it and lower right. Ran out of battery on the drill, so time to quit. Tomorrow the rest and then the oil cooler mount.
