Troubleshooting avionics. When you want to have a wire get live when the switch is on, don't hook it up to the hot side of the switch. That simple lesson completed the avionics, except for the tail light/strobe (always an "except"). Everything works and has been tested and run.
Worked on the wing fairings at the fues. root. Completed trimming the left one and drilled all the holes. One hole that is punched in the upper fariing is over a rivet, about 1" from its nutplate hole in the wing. Drilled out the rivet. Got the other side bottom trimmed and all 20 top stiffeners cleaned up and ready for drilling. This is the last "major" metal job on the airplane.
