Brief Description: Seal baffles, rear seat well carpet
Working on making the baffles/plenum more airtight. Added some baffle material where there was a large gap on the right front. Made the seal where the oil filler sticks thru the plenum. Also one where the governor intrudes into the inlet. Used a full tube of sealant on various other gaps and holes that are just part of the baffle construction
For a break, decided to cut out a piece of carpet. Used the template I made months ago to cut out the left rear seat well. Put in the flap cover and the carpet. The sides come up about 2.5" all around. Fit very well except I cut the right carpet instead of the left so the front was off. Will use velcro around the top and it appears that the 90 degree bent between the floor and sidewalls will not need to be treated, this carpet is thin and bends very well. It is surplus aircraft carpet and a perfect color for my stuff.
