Temporarly hooked up the Light Speed cables to their coils in order to phase the system so it fires the right plugs. Turned it on and the cooling fan failed to run and then the system did not fire at all. Checked the fuse, Ok, then started checking voltages. The voltmeter, a cheap RadioShack failed.
Went to the store and got a better (i.e. not RadioShit) and found no voltage at the fan. Tracd the wire back to the switch and found it unplugged. So now the fan ran but the system still did not work. Went under the panel again and unplugged the main plug. Took the Dsub apart and cut off all the heat shrink tubing. What do you know, I had two sets of wires reversed. Tomorrow will be a more productive day..
