Brief Description:  Go get engine, prop and motor mounts

Took the bull by the horns after FedEx told me that the motor was in Salem and they would get it here sometimes next week. Their freight business sure ain't overnight attitude. So I went in and picked it up myself. Big Box, mostly foam.

Pulled pickup in the hanger and started to unravel the box. They use very heavy cardboard and expanding foam to completely protect the motor. Makes it interesting to get to it, you first just cut all the cardboard away and peal off the outside foam that is locking the motor in. It is wrapped in heavy plastic along with several small bags of Cat litter, to keep it dry. Cut the bag off and picked the motor up out of its foam bed. Moved the bed and motor to the hoist where it will be safe while some work gets done on it.

Completed the two spinner supports on the prop and put it away for a while.

Installed the 4 motor mounts on the motor, interesting bolts on the bottom required grinding a wrench down to fit. No way to torque them with a wrench, so just a good guess.

The motor came with the right ring gear for the Lightspeed ignition new pickup. Had to ask, but it was no issue. May be a problem with the alternator belt location, but that can be fixed.
