Brief Description: Com Antenna, testing ... main battery
Installed both com antenna and connected one to the PAR100EX transceiver and an antenna wire to the other for latter connection to the DYNON.
Turned on the Intercom/Radio and tested it out with both music, a neighbor and his headset and other radios flying and locally. Thanks Stein, everything works. The sound is great and the squelch system works great with talking. I am happy.
Tested out the panel plug and discovered that one door warning LED was wired with the wrong polarity. Both wires on the red LED were red, so assumed either would work as ground. Not true. Also the white LED had a red and green wire, well red is ground, green is power. These were airliner surplus and look good. Look beter when they work. Fixed it all and tested the door warning circuits, both Ok. Set up the EMS elevator trim travel indicator and started on the flap.
Started solenoid is apparently defective. Infinite resistance across the coil.
Main battery arrived so I took my old model started battery out. It worked as long as it was connected up to a charger. The new battery fits and looks much more flightworthy.
