Brief Description: Glove box, Alt air SV, PAR100EX cable
No work yesterday. Went to glider field and purchased an unused Power FLARM anti-collision device for the glider. Uses Mode C, ADSB outputs and a glider specific ADSB type output to provide glider specific ADSB type warnings. Is required for most contests today and can help reduce the risk of mid-airs. Also can spot gliders near you that are climbing, very valuable at times!
Built a new glove box to replace the previous that was too short with the deletion of the ICOM200 radio in place of the newly announced Dynon.
Installed and plumbed the alternate air solenoid that arrived yesterday. Since all the static system does not need to go forward of the baggage compartment, for alternate air I installed a normally closed SV that will open to provide cabin air to the static system.
Got out the Stein PAR100EX harness and unstrung the lines that go to the center console. A bunch of wire. Began lacing it together since it will run mostly alone. It is 7' 6" to reach the console, hoepfully just a little long.
