Brief Description:  Mechanical work, flaps, rivet

Worked on the fues, not avionics. When I put the flap mechanism together it seemed to have a lot of drag. Tried it today with the motor disconnected and decided it needed work. Ended up taking most of it apart and discovered that the teflon guides for the tubes were not lined up horizontally. When the long tubes went thru the side guides, both were almost 1" below the guide on the tunnel. Removed the outer guides and sanded a taper on them to align the tubes. Almost 3/16" was required to get it square. Put it all back together and the flaps were definately easier to operate. Not real loose, but Ok.

While at it, decided to rivet the sides where the rivets for the door fitting were left out and the rivets in my remote transceiver mount goes to the skin. Not easy rivets due to the insulation and wires. Should have done it before both.
