Brief Description: Wired door alert, misc pwr termninal board, order
After looking at the new Dynon radio for a couple of days, called Stein up and ordered one. The announcement was a little premature, they won't be out til the middle of June, but it will be worth the wait. Photo 1 shows it just to the left of the 10" screen, almost like I designed it that way. Appears I will have a brand new ICOM 200 (several years old but never installed) available. Will also have to make the glove box over again because it now needs to be about 1" higher. Fortunately have the .032 in the shop to make it.
Wired up the door open alert system. Put in a terminal board for misc 12V power things, like the door alert and the EMS alert light and ran wire to the fuse board.
Designed the wires for the panel Dsub. The 4 warning lights and ignition switch are panel mounted and will go to a Dsub on the first former back, barely seen in photo 2 near all the wires. Thus everything mounted on the panel has a plug and I can remove the instrument panel from the A.C to get to all the wires back there. Ran all the wires that go to the Dsub. Tomorrow will do the ties on that bundle of wire and make it look good.
