Too manny dust bunnies in the panel. Spent 2 hours sanding it down. Painted again. This time kept the hanger buttoned up from first tack coat til it was dry to the touch. Could have worked with a respirator on, but did other things.
After moving panel, almost completely dust free, to the curing oven and turning it up to 80, riveted together the upper front assembly. I think I will rivet it into the aircraft and work around it for wiring. Some wires will be tied to it and pass thru various ports, so there is nothing to gain leaving it out. All the avionics on the panel have been mounted and checked for clearance with the other stuff. There will be a conflict somewhere, but will deal with it when it shows up.
