Spent couple of hours drawing schematics and working on ordering the avionics. Going to be about 17-18K for a almost full up dual screen Skyview system including a PAR100EX.
Drew schematics til I could not stand it. Am going to use a homemade wiring hub with 9 Dsub connectors with 9 - 37 pins. Will bring dedicated cables from instuments, power and avionics to one point. Includes two 37 pin ground bus connectors for avionics and most grounds replacing the forest of tabs in my -6. Single point ground for sure.
Soldered the lug on one end of the #2 battery cable and pulled it from the battery to firewall. Need to decide on firewall shield method to use this time. Now it is just a rubber grommet to protect the wire.
