Removed cabin top from fues. Built a simple attachment to the grinder to hold the sanding drum about .300 off the guide plate. Used it to sand the seal surface to somewhere near the .250 it needs to be. Worked Ok, in some areas it went in too far. Sure generated a lot of dust that I collected with the vacuum cleaner held against the disk. Wore out 3 very coarse sanding drums.
Added some glass back in the areas where it took too much off and some micro where the surface needed it. Tomorrow start going over it with sandpaper to even everything out and try to bring it down to a consistant .250.
