Brief Description:  Steps 9, 10, and 11

Played hookey on the Friday before Labor Day. Mowed lawn and completed other chores, but was able to duck into the shop for a few hours in the evening. Installed replacement 3-228 part from AM, which was a great fit [thanks, Kim!].

Moved on to steps 9 and 10, which are all about installing the Rear Square Post. If the ship has a backbone, other than the body tube, this is it. Includes loops for seatbelts, and fittings for rear wing struts. As a person who spent several years fabricating fittings for my cub project, I can certify that these parts are truly beautiful. Great craftsmanship.

QUICK NOTE that last week my daughter cajoled me into taking her for her first glider lesson. We both did initial lessons in a Schweizer at Jersey RIdge Soaring at Blairstown Airport. Couldn't ask for a prettier airfield or better weather. We had a blast, and Lolly is hooked.
