Continued fitting of the rear of the turtle deck. Lots of work required to get even a semi-close fit. The boom seems to be sitting approx 1/4" too high in fuse and aft turtle deck doesn't want to sit down as a result. I trimmed the sides of the hull which allowed it to fit much better. Current error is approx 3/16" which will be easily covered by the rubber bumper that covers the seam..
I also drove to Moultrie today and picked up all the parts from the powder coater. Man, $65 today! I think their prices are going up as they're getting tired of dealing with my little orders. The parts look great, but they coated in the inside of the carb drip trays...hopefully that doesn't cause a problem.
I installed the carb mates (rubber flanges), drip trays and intake manifolds today...that coating will give the motor a very finished look.
