Brief Description:  More L & R Aileron Work

Today I started off by finishing the edges on all 4 leading edge nose ribs. Then I partially riveted the A-408 aileron spar reinforcement brackets on L & R aileron spars. Then I deblued the A-802PP leading edge skins L & R...finished edges on these skins. I then clecoed the Lft aileron leading edge assy. all together with counterbalance pipe installed...match drilled all holes top and bottom to include pipe. Of note, the counterbalance pipe rivet holes and the bottom leading edge skin-to-spar holes are all drilled out with a #30 drill bit vice a #40. These holes will take a CS4-4 countersunk pop rivet vice a AN 426 rivet. I then used a really long #30 drill bit to drill the nose rib tabs onto the pipe. Dis-assembled all the left aileron then used deburring tool to machine countersink the holes in the counterbalance pipe.

I still need to deburr, finish edges, and dimple the Left aileron parts tomorrow. I'll also start doing same stuff on right aileron.
