Today Andrew and I started off by discussing aircraft external lighting, NACA air venting, engine stuff, etc. Just stuff we need to order in the future to help plan orders and reduce costs for parts and shipping. So now we have a gameplan.
Next we routed, measured, cut, and bent pitot tube aluminum tubing. We also did the same for the pitot tube itself, flared both tubes, and performed a test fit. All good for now. We will wait to re-route the tubing in the wing until the bolts for the tank z-brackets are all in place as they kinda interfere with the tubing. But now the pitot tube stuff is all complete.
Then we cut an extra NACA in the left lower wing skin to get extra ventilation in the rear cockpit....finished edges, etc.
Next session...rivet LE assy's to wing spar and install fuel tanks onto wing spars.
