Today Andrew and I started by using scotchbrite pads to scuff up the aileron & flap braces and all rivet lines on the wing skins. We did same to wing walk doublers as well. After cleaning all parts thoroughly with Acetone, we sprayed them with self-etching primer. Cleaned up shop. Tomorrow I will start dimpling the wing ribs with the hand squeezer. Also...forgot....today we also used the deburring tools to countersink the bottom flange of the flap braces to accept/sit flush against the bottom wing skin and flap piano hinge.
