Brief Description:  Pressure Test Left & Right Tanks

Today I started by installing the Vans fuel tank test kit pieces in the respective places. Taped over the fuel caps and installed balloon. Filled with air and will let sit overnight. Ohm tested both left tank and right tank senders. Check OK. Tomorrow I will test right fuel tank. Edited on 4/23/2015.....Well, the good news is that the left fuel tank passed its leak test on first try. The right tank however would not hold air doing the balloon test. After 3 tries and performing the soap suds detection method, Andrew found out that air was leaking from the valve stem that was not screwed in enough from the fuel strainer socket. I later confirmed this as well. I removed the valve stem and put teflon tape around it and reinserted into the strainer socket. Filled with air and let sit overnight and test went well. See picture dated on the 4/16/2015 logbook entry. So now tanks are complete!
