Today I spent quite a bit of time peeling the vinyl plastic from all of the rudder and elevator parts...and labeling each part. I had to hold each part over the kerosine heater to sort of heat it up in order to get a "good peel." I trimmed the vinyl from the rudder skin rivet lines as well. Worked on the first set of rudder stiffeners...the R-815 G & F stiffeners and clecoed them onto the rudder skin to test fit and clearance from the rudder spar.
