08/20/2018 - Today, I finished covering the bottom of the left wing. Glued it on all 4 sides and ironed out all the little wrinkles. Made a drawing of the spacing (for rib laceing) for the root rib where the wing walk is located. I finished ironing (at 350) the butt end since this was glued top and some bottom. Chuck made a special cover for the aileron control arm, I glued around the control arm and the inspection holes. This should turn out real nice. I spent some 2 hours on the fabric over the bow, it seemed to lay flat - glued it. Chuck reminded me that we need holes drilled for rib laceing at the control arm. Last modified: Aug 21, 2018
