09/03/2018 _ Today, we finally got wing 3 completely covered and glued, we had several different issues with this wing. 1st, we had to stitch the rib at the buttend at the wing walk. Had to cover one side shrink at 250 then stitch. This was a short stitch, cause we could not go all the way through. Was tough, but we made it. Then after measuring at least 6 times in order to avoid not getting close to control mechanism we finally put the top fabric on, glued it and worked around the hand hold. Since the last post, we have worked about 4 to 4,1/2 hours each day. We generally
work on the Hatz 5 days a week with taking off each Tue. & Thur. We have adhered to this schedule since I retired Dec. 2014. Next, we start to iron at 250, then 350, poly brush, tape , more poly brush, the 4thh wing, same proceedure. Last modified: Sep 3, 2018
