Paragraph 1, 5, 6. Remove muffler and install with attach channels both pointing down. Start to install the exhaust primary pipes to the cylinder heads. 3 out of 4 of the pipes won't fit into the exhaust ports. The stub exhaust pipes supplied with the engine have a bevel on the end of the pipe. The Rans exhaust pipes have no bevel on the pipe end to enter the exhaust port and are actually flaired out a few thousands of an inch and won't enter the port. Grind and polish the exhaust pipes so they will enter the ports of the Rotax heads.
