I finished fitting the flap cover halfs to the airframe and glued in the strip used to join the two halves with screws. I found that the fitting of the cover was complicated by interference with the nut and bolt that is used for the flap handle pivot. I finally had to drill a clearance hole in the cover for the nut and bolt.
