Brief Description:  Aileron Bellcrank Mounting Issue

I noticed that the aileron bellcrank assembly in the aft fuselage did not appear to be mounted correctly. If you take a look at the first picture in the red circled area, there is a gap between the mounting plate and the fuselage. The rivets come from outside and go through the aluminum mounting plate to secure this assembly, but the plate was not flush to the fuselage when it was riveted.

This assembly appears to have been mounted this way from the factory back in the 1980's, as the instructions do not mention mounting it but just making use of it (ie: mounting things to it).

Since I did not like the way it was mounted, and it was also in the way of my fuselage painting prep, I drilled out the rivets and removed this. I'll mount it later after the fuselage has been painted.
