This morning I began to rivet the rudder skeleton together. I then riveted the counterbalance skin on and bolted the counter balance on the counter balance rib. I didn't think I had a #10 screw dimple die, but I did in the form of a bolt thru dimple die. I just turned the allen wrench bolt untill I got a good dimple. Love having the right tools!! I then began to rivet on the skins. I could reach almost all the rivets with the squeezer, but some I could not. I will buck those tomorrow. I will also do the trailing edge, which is supposed to be the trickiest part of the emmpenage. We will see....
Skeleton done and attaching skins
Counter balance weight secured in place
Skins almost fully riveted - Trailing edge tomorrow...
