Brief Description:  VS dimpling

Today I found a local supplier for the primer I am going to use (AKZO). They are located up in Warren. Their prices were a little high, so I called Aircraft Spruce to compare. There prices were a lot lower (even with haz-met shipping) and I didn't have to pay sales tax. I placed the order for a 2 gallon kit. I also picked-up the alumiprep #33, alodine, and degreaser at the local paint supply store. I then went to Harbor Freight and got a respirator (25% off w/ coupon), a gravity fed paint gun sprayer, and a couple of multi-outlet plugs for the shop.I put all of my supplies away and attached the multi-plugs to the wall. I wanted to finish preping the VS part. I needed to countersink the spars, but because they are under 0.040" thick, they can be dimpled. I did countersink part of the spar doubler to allow it to sit flush when attached to fuselage. I will move on the rudder tomorrow and will be ready to prime this weekend, if it is not too humid.
