THE WINGS ARE DONE!!! This morning Wendy helped me finish the riveting on the left wing. I then removed the ailerons and flaps and put the finished wings in the mobile cart. I then dis-assembled the wing stand and cleaned out the shop. I mounted the flaps and ailerons on the wall with the empenage parts. I now have lots of room to construct the fuselage! Now all I have to do is order the fuselage. Today is Memorial Day and I hope to order the fuselage soon. My company that has been in business for over 18 years is pretty much out of business. The housing market was hit pretty hard here and I have been pursuing other options. I am in the process of forming a new company and will be (hopefully) in the position to purchase more parts for the airplane in the near future. Until then, I still have to prep the remaining 3 bottom panels and get the lighting for the wings together. I should be OK (I usually land on my feet in any situation). I'm used to a comfortable living and I'm not going to let a little thing like no work keep me from making a good living !!! Till then.....keep pounding those rivets!
