Tonight is Halloween.....and instead of handing out candy, I am in the shop working on my plane! I don't have young kids and Wendy was working late at the shop.....I used this time to rivet the end ribs on the left tank. I riveted on the inboard and outboard ribs first, then riveted the T-905 bracket and the 2 - T-410 reinforcement plates on the nose of the ribs. I know I am supposed to prime the T-905 bracket, but I decided to attach it and prime the part not covered with pro-seal later. Besides, I don't think the pro-seal will stick very well to a primed surface....I could be wrong. I finished off the night by re-checking all of the contact areas of the tank assembly to make sure pro-seal was applied. I think it looks pretty good and I will be supprised if anything leaks.
