I got back from up north today around 4:00. Wendy was still working at the New Boston Applefest (she had a booth for her shop). I unpacked and did a few things around the house. I then decided to get a couple of hours in on the plane, before Wendy came home. I finished assembling the 2 leading edges. I had to trim the #5 rib on each LE in order to clear a rivet on the spar. I next placed the assembled LE's on the spars. The next steps need the wing ribs assembled. I've got to get the main ribs primed.....I've done about as much as I can ahead without riveting the ribs on the spars. In order to do that I need to prime..... I will begin to clean and alumiprep the ribs tomorrow. By the way.....Salmon fishing was fun; The fish are HUGE and I am sore! I think I need a day or two to recover.....
