Brief Description:  Rivet spars, finish ribs, began wing assembly

Long day.....I woke up to the sound of rain. I needed to prime the spar parts (outside) so I did other things till I got a break in the rain. I began by preparing the main ribs for the priming of the countersink holes. I know I could have just used a rattle can of primer and sprayed each hole, but I don't want to mess up the fine anodized finish on the spars.....I then worked on the ribs until about 1:00, when the rain stopped. I quickly set up and primed the rear spar parts and the countersink holes in the main spars. It just began to rain again as I was bringing the last piece back in to the shop....I then set the wing spars on the spar stands. I used wood blocks to protect the spars as I clamped them with various c-clamps. I then made the Aileron & flap alignment tool. This 1x2 is used to find the neutual position of the flaps & ailerons, once the wing is assembled. Two holes drill and a couple of marks with a pen and the tool was complete. I also marked on it "SAVE" on several spot, so I don't forget what it is.....I riveted the rear spars together, making sure to leave certain holes open for assembly with other parts.I finished deburring and fluting the rest of the ribs. I can now begin the assembly. I followed the plans carefully, because the ribs to not all face the same way. When I got the last rib on the spars, I stepped back and took a long look....Even thought there is still a LOT of work to do on these wings, it felt good to see them taking shape.
