Brief Description:  Alumiprep & Alodine Rear Spar

Tonight I got home and immediatley began to get the tables set up outside for priming prep. I needed to work fast, before I lost the daylite. I first cleaned the parts with acetone, then scrubbed each piece in an alumiprep bath with a scotch-brite pad. By the time I got to the alodine bath, it was getting dark. I again used the seal-a-meal bag method, but only half of the spars would fit. I did half of each spar and then the other half. It was very messy and I had some spillage, but a good watering with the hose cleaned everthing up. After I cleaned everything up and brought the parts back in the shop, I continued to prep the ribs. The 'done' pile is getting bigger ....and the 'to do' pile is getting smaller! I am down to the last 10 ribs and I expect to be done with them tomorrow....
