Brief Description: Finished wing stands and mobile wing cart
I got up and started to work on the wing stands. I put up the other 3 posts and then fabricated the other 4 aluminum angle bracket. I used the grinding wheel to round all the edges on the angle iron, then deburred the edges. All the stands are now complete with bracket and leveled. I got the plans for the mobile cart from the EAA website. I added 1 foot to the length, because I know the RV-9 has a longer wing span than the other models this cart was designed for. I purchased the caster wheels at Harbor Freight and everything went together easily. So now I've done everything I can until the wing kit is delivered. I will clean out the shop one more time.......If I begin to have building withdrawals, I might attached the fiberglass tips the the rudder and elevators.....we'll see.

All 4 posts up and all brackets installed. Ready for wings!
