Brief Description:  Cabin Frame installation

I just about finished the cabin frame today. I carefully figured out where to bolt on the angle mounts. This is one of those items that is not easily spelled out in the plans, but is apparent after a little studying of the plans.....I also tapered down the edges of the outer angle mount, so the skin will sit smoothly over it. I used the belt sander.... I also had to remove some of the channel aft edges and round them out with a file and sander to allow the channel to fit snuggly into the rounded inside corner of the mounting angles. This took a little bit of time, but at this point in the build, it was fairly easy to do. Next I had to re-mount the channel assembly and cleco in the rear upper support structures. I also match drilled these. Once everything was in place, I clamped it down and began to drill the attachment points. Some of the screws are visible and some are behind the skins. I did all of the mounts except the 4 inner bolts. I will finish that tomorrow. I will then remove the entire assembly and set it aside till later in the build. I will now get back to finishing the interior painting.....
