I just can't get over how much I love my new rotating fuselage stand! I finished installing the control stick assembly and then began to work on the front deck. I'm going a bit out of order from the manual now, but all of these need to be done and I will not mount the forward deck perminantly until I finish the cabin plumbing, painting and stuff...I needed to fabricate a lot of angle parts for the front deck. There are angle part that need to be curved around the panel and the sub-panel, so v-cuts need to be cut and cleaned....lots of them! I did notice I was missing a part (F-697 Channel). I check my inventory list and it was not on there. I will call Van's on Tuesday to see why I didn't get it with the fuselage kit (they are closed on Monday - President's Day). I will probably work on the rear upper cabin frame tommorw...then I will tackle some brake lines and fuel lines....
