Brief Description:  Riveted Steps, Baggage Floors, Conduit for wiring.

Got a lot of stuff done today....I began my getting the steps riveted on. I was able to reach in the plane and buck the rivets by myself...I thought I might need Wendy's help on this, but I didn't. Next I attached the platenuts and nylon pieces on the baggage bulkheads. The nylon pieces will act as a cable guide for the seat belt cables. I've also been thinking how I was going to run conduit under the seat and baggage bottoms. I decided to go with 3 runs. 2 go from the front to the back and one just from the access panel to the front. The two center conduits run through the access panels. I plan on mounting my ELT to the access panel on the right side of the plane. I fabricated a bunch of clips to hold the conduit in place. I pop riveted these in place and then worked the plastic conduit through them. I think it looks great and should be able to handle all of the wiring that needs to get to the back of the fuselage. Next I worked on the baggage bottom panels. I needed to rivet the baggage ribs to the rear bulkhead, then I installed all of the platenuts, then I finished by pop riveting the panel to the ribs. I am taking my time on this and it is well worth it because it looks great! Tomorrw I plan on mounting the seat bottoms and back....I think I will get to sit in the plane for the first time tomorrow!!
