Brief Description:  Primed Parts

Today I finished prepping the larger parts and skins. I then set up the sprayer and mixed the Azko primer. The primer needs to set for a half hour after mixing before it is sprayed. I used the same method that I did yesterday and everything came out nice. I then began to clean up the shop. I need to put some stuff (tools, etc.) away and vaccum up some of the metal shavings that have been piling up. I also used the wet-vac and cleaned out the fuselage. I have to move some boxes and do some more vacuuming tomorrow before I begin to assemble these parts on the fuselage. I love getting done with a batch of priming, because the assembly after priming is the fun part of building. I've also been thinking about building a rotating fuselage stand once these parts are all buttoned up. I need to get inside the fuselage alot from here on out and it would be alot easier if I can rotate the fuse to allow me access without having to climb inside. More on that later....
