Brief Description: Dis-assemble Aft Fuselage, Deburr & Remove blue pl
Today I began by disassembling the aft fuselage. I used my pnuematic cleco tool....I then began to deburr all of the edged of the parts and skins using a scoth-brite wheel in the drill press and also using an edge deburring tool (from Avery's). After I deburr the edges, I use a scoth-brite pad to smooth out any remaining burr. I then deburred all of the holels....lots of holels...both sides! I still have to deburr and dimple one side skin and the bottom skin, then I can prime the insides of the skins and begin re-assembly. From there I rivet the aft fuse together, then move on to the center section.....
I used a soldering iron to remove the blue plastic along the rivet lines
The top J-channel shows the holes before dimples, the bottom after dimpling...
One of the side skins of the aft fuselage all deburred and dimpled..ready for inside priming...
