Brief Description: Iniital fitment of brake pedals to rudder pedals
Fit the pedals to the rudder pedal arms.
Drilled pilot holes #40 in the steel hing material for both L and R brakes. This included 4 holes for mounting to the steel pedal assembly, plus 3 holes for the aluminnum pedal portion of the assembly. See pic below.
Once both hinges were pilot drilled, they were clamped to the rudder pedal arms and drilled-thru into the steel tubes. The aluminum toe pedal portion was then clamped to the other side of the hinge and drilled.
Once both L & R were drilled, they were up-sized to #30, and then #20 for stainless steel rivets.
Removed all pars, deburred, then spray pained the hinges to prevent rust.
