Brief Description: Finish wire ties; mess with exhaust
Finished applying the splicing tape to the motor mount tubes, follwed by using zip ties to secure the wires to the tubes, fashioning the zip ties into stand-off type spacing.
Most time was spent screwing around with the exhaust. AN3-13 bolts are used to secure the taipipes to the headers using a standard elbow joint. These are held by springs. The instructions advise to use washers to compress the supplied springs between the flange halves, but I had 8 washers (!) on each bolt and the pipe would *still* flex when it wasn't supposed to flex.
Tried shorter bolts and fewer washers to create a tighter joint, then tried again, and again (!). Ticked off so called it a day.
