SECTION 48-22 November 30th , 2010 Step 1 … I placed the U-1018 Nose Gear Leg Fairing to the WD-1017 Nose Gear Leg Assembly and installed the hinge pin carefully. Sighting through the translucent fiberglass I Match Drilled #19 four holes where the WD-1017 Nose Gear Leg Assembly brackets are visible. Step 2 … Removed the U-1018 Nose Gear Leg Fairing and added K1000-08 nutplates at each if the four WD-1017 Nose Gear Leg Assembly brackets and countersunk for aAN426AD3-3.5 rivets. Step 3 … I countersunk the U-1018 Nose Gear Leg Fairing for AN526C832R8 stainless steel screws. Then test fit the fairing to the nose gear leg and added a ASN737TW-66 hose clamp at the top. Time about 1.5 hour.
