Brief Description: Safety Latch Laminations and Cutting Each

Step 1 to 3 , Located the 10 C-1018 Safety Latch Laminations and cut as described in figure 1 and 2. Step 4, Cleco together tow stacks of five Safety Latch Laminations. Each stack mush have one counter sunk side piece, two tailless and lug less pieces and one piece as supplied and one right side countersunk piece stacked up as shown I n figure 3. Final drill #30 each stacks in three places. Keep the stack in order by numbering and dissemble and debur as necessary. Step 5, I riveted together the tow stacks of the 10 C-1018 Safety Latch Laminations. The types of rivets used are AN426AD4-12. I final drilled using a #11 bit the lugs in the Safety Latch. Finally using a disk sander with 80 then 120 and then 220 grit paper I smoothed up the group of C-1018 Safety Latch Laminations.
