Brief Description:  GTX-327 Transponder and America King 350 from Sara

I have received the GTX-327 Transponder from Garmin that uses a1030 MHz frequency operating on Mode A and C. It’s seems to be an industry standard and I cabled in a RS-232 data transfer interface cable connector for when Garmin makes available software updates for the unit, that is the software can be changed while the unit is still mounted inside the X-10. Dynon does make an integrated S-Mode transponder for the Skyview MFD but I decided to go with the GTX-327 because of their reputation for designing a great product. I also needed an Altitude Encoder for the 327 transponder to work correctly, so I ordered the America King 350 from Sarasota Avionics in Florida. The AK-350 was a little big but I have made room for the unit in front of the avionics sub-panel. Anyway the avionics panel work continues, I give myself about 1 year to complete the panel project.

Time at least 15 hours because I was working Slow and Waiting for Parts/Equipment.
