Brief Description: Heaphone and microphone jacks

07/03/2011 Continued on wiring the avionics harness from the GMA 340. I ordered mono headset jacks by accident and have to reinstall with the correct backseat stereo headphone jacks. The microphone jacks were correct as you only wire one inner prong if the Push To Talk or PPT Pilot and Co-Pilot option is not needed, as in the back seat. For connecting the Braided Shield grounds to teh GMA 340 I used a 1/4" solder sleeve w/pigtail. As seen in the first and thrid pictures. I only ordered five but I need to order enough to complete the project. You can just solder a #22 gage wire and cover with Heat Shrink but the 1/4" solder sleeve w/ pigtail makes for a better professional overall appearance. Time 5 hours
