Steps 1 to 4, I located the pink C-1001 Cabin Cover and removed fiberglass where indicated in figure 1. Leaving 3 / 4 “edge around the Windscreen Flange, Flange around the Window Opening the Mid-Skin Flange and the Tailcone Fwd Top Skin. Again using the high speed air cut-off tool with a thin grinder disk remove enough fiberglass material to leave just 1 / 16 edge below the bevel on the bottom of the door opening where it meets the F-1015C Mid Cabin Deck and just forward of this up until it meets the Windscreen at location, the F-1071 Forward Fuselage see figure 1 for details. Since the scribe line was not present in my fuselage kit I am delaying until I obtain the doors and test install the doors to draw a line and trim the lip of the door opening. Then test the fit and continue trimming where necessary.
