Section 30, STEP INSTALLATION …. Pages 30-2, Steps 1 to 7 Step 1, I marked and then drill with a #10 drill the F-1038 Step Support Block in four places as described in figure 1. Step 2, I deburred the end edge of the WD-1007-L/R Step. Step 3, Inserted the Step into the side of the fuselage and then into the WD-1008-L/R Step Mounting Bracket and further into the F-1038 Teflon Support Block and rotated the block to find the top, bottom, forward and aft position of the block. Step 4, I clecoed according to the plans the F-1022A-L/R Baggage Floor to the fuselage but I don’t know why. Step 5, I drilled two holes using a #12 drill bit and clecoed each hole. Step 6, Removed the F-1022A-L/R Baggage Floor and finished drilling #12 the remaining two holes. Marked the top and bottom of the F-1038 Teflon Support Block then removed and deburred the holes. Step 7, Withdrawn the WD-1007-L/R Step and ten bolted the F-1038 Teflon Support Block with four each AN3-11A bolts, AN960-10 and AN365-1032 nuts and torqued to 27 in/lbs each. Time about 2.5 hours for both Left and Right Steps
