Brief Description: Empennage Fairing 12-4, VS-1009 Vertical Stabilize

09/25/2008 …. Completed the VS-1009 Vertical Stabilizer Tip Fairing to the top of the VS-Vertical Stabilizer as described in Figure 1 page 12-4. I closed the back of the VS-1009 Vertical Stabilizer by means of the similar fiberglass and epoxy used in the Horizontal Stabilizer Tip Fairings. After sanding , deburing and dimpling (counter sinking) I attached the completed assembly to the top of the Vertical Stabilizer using the called out CS4-4 rivets. This is as far as I can go in Section 12 as pages 12 -4 to 12-6. The next step to deals with the final completion on the aircraft as is placed in the hanger. Therefore I am complete and ready for the Wings. Time about 2 hours.
