Brief Description: Empennage Attachment Attached the Eye Bolts or Ro
09/07/2008……. Attached the Eye Bolts or Rod End Bearing MD-3614M and the jam nut AN316-6 to both of the Elevators as described in Figure 1. Then mounted the previously completed Horizontal Stabilizer to the work bench with long screws and then fitted the Elevators to the Horizontal Stabs as described in Step 4. Checked for proper clearance between the moving elevators and the stationary Horizontal Stabilizers. And then checked for the + 30 or “Full-up” Elevator IN position and “Full-Down” Elevator down position as detailed in Figure 4. Time about 4 hours.
